Retired NRL star Sam Burgess and his new fiancée Lucy Graham will welcome their first child in the coming weeks.

And Sam, 34, enjoyed some time with his future in-laws on Saturday after they flew from Britain to Australia ahead of meeting their new grandchild.

Taking to Instagram, Lucy shared a photo of Sam posing at Coogee Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs as they enjoyed a walk together.

In another post, Lucy revealed the group’s morning plans with her parents, which included getting coffee, eating avocado on toast, enjoying a seaside walk and taking photos on the beach.

“Big Dave fits so well into the eastern suburbs lifestyle,” Lucy wrote, referring to her father David Graham.

Lucy is heavily pregnant with her first child with Sam, and is due in September.

Sam was previously married to Phoebe Burgess, with whom he shares two children: daughter Poppy, six, and son Billy, four.

The former Rabbitohs player proposed to Lucy in June, just nine months after they made their relationship public.

Burgess previously revealed he was extremely nervous when he proposed to the Leeds hairdresser.

When Sam appeared on Channel 7’s Sunrise shortly after arriving in Australia, he was asked how he proposed to Lucy.

Keeping the details private, he said: “I was actually very nervous, I dropped the ball, it was a great day, a great time away, we’re both very happy.”

Lucy seemed extremely happy with her engagement ring as she shared photos of it showing it off on Instagram.

Lucy recently made the decision to move Down Under from Britain permanently and it is thought her pregnancy was the reason.

It was recently revealed that Lucy was a member of British girl group The Ultra Girls, who were featured heavily on The X Factor UK in 2009.

Graham sang and danced with three other young women in the girl power group that was inspired by The Spice Girls.

One of their career highlights was supporting Kylie Minogue on her Aphrodite World Tour in London in 2011.

Unfortunately, their debut single Girls Will Be Girls failed to chart despite heavy publicity, ending Graham’s dream of becoming a pop star.
