“Nothing is more important than my family,” he told the publication.

“He’s a lovely young man,” Darren added of Hugo, who welcomed Olivier, 51, in 2009 with a female couple.

Darren added that while he and Olivier share custody of Hugo, the teenager was an essential part of the family.

“We have our son with us a little less than half the time,” Darren explains.

On Father’s Day, Olivier posted a number of snaps on Instagram of a festive outing with Darren and Hugo.

They seemed to be having a lot of fun when they attended the History of House Show with Groove Terminator and The Soweto Gospel Choir in Sydney.

“A wonderful Father’s Day with our #1 son and my other #1,” Olivier captioned the sweet post.

Darren showed The Block contestants how it’s done last month when he put his renovated $2.98 million Bondi Beach home up for sale.

The interior designer bought the luxurious property in 2015 together with Olivier and focused on its renovation.
