Less than a week ago, Republicans in the House of Representatives launched a formal investigation into the impeachment of the 46th president — and oh boy, the Bidens are certainly keeping these investigators busy.
New evidence emerged that appeared to link the Biden clan to yet another influence operation.
I know what you're thinking: what did Hunter do this time?
Wait, this is a family matter and the latest allegations involve Jim, Joe's little brother.
Before America could digest that bombshell, another dropped – a member of the Biden brood isn't paying his bills to Uncle Sam.
It turns out that the First Son isn't the only one having trouble with the tax authorities.
Joe's daughter Ashley reportedly owed $5,000 in income taxes from 2015 to 2021.
Sure, this pales in comparison to the troubled Hunter failing to pay $1.4 million to the FBI – but what's going on with Joe's kids allegedly robbing the government?
It's almost as if they think the rules don't apply to them. I'm kidding, of course they don't.
After all, they learned from the best.

Jim Biden was secretly recorded by the FBI in the 1990s when he was hired by disgraced lawyer Richard “Dickie” Scruggs. Scruggs later pleads guilty to an unrelated scheme to bribe a judge.
Speaking to the Washington Post this weekend, Dickie claimed he paid Jim a whopping $100,000 in 1998 for one reason only.
At the time, Scruggs was overseeing a case against Big Tobacco and was eyeing a possible $368 billion verdict, but he needed Congress to waive protections that shielded the cigarette companies from the lawsuit.
Enter Jim Biden.
Senator Joe Biden was initially skeptical of the bill, but he came around and voted for it.
“I probably wouldn't have hired (Jim) if he wasn't the senator's brother,” Dickie barked, adding, “(Jim) didn't brag about it or talk about it, he didn't have to, he was the man's brother.'
Ultimately, the legislation failed, but Scruggs says he was pleased with the effort. “Jim helped us and Joe gave us good advice,” he told the Washington Post.
Hmmm… does this sound familiar?
Hunter's business partner Devon Archer testified that Hunter was involved in a similar relationship with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
“Burisma would have gone bankrupt if (Biden's) brand wasn't associated with it,” Archer testified under oath.
Come on, it's as clear as day. The Biden family business sold access to Joe – and business was booming.
The question for House investigators is: Did Joe Biden get a piece of the scam?
If that can be proven, the president will face the very real possibility of impeachment and removal from office. Meanwhile, things are going from bad to worse for the Bidens.
Before the House voted last week to formalize the impeachment inquiry, Hunter defied a congressional subpoena and stepped to the microphones outside the Capitol to announce, “My father was not financially involved in my company.”
Medieval monks did not prepare their illuminated manuscripts as carefully.
The official line on Biden's involvement has now shifted from Papa Joe “never talked business” with Hunter, to Joe “never talked business” with Hunter, to this latest distraction.

The question that should be on every reporter's lips is: If Joe wasn't involved 'financially', how exactly was he involved?
At the White House, press secretary Karinne Jean Pierre admitted that the president was “familiar” with Hunter's lying monologue before it was delivered.
I'm sorry, what? The President of the United States knew his son was about to break the law and ignore the subpoena?
Now we tiptoe around obstacles. Hunter, maybe you should sit back for a moment.
But despite all the investigations and maneuvering in Congress, there is something else going on here.
It's open season on the Biden crime family!
Even if this impeachment inquiry fails to uncover “high crimes and misdemeanors,” it is a millstone around the neck of the Biden 2024 campaign.
Don't take it from me. Barack Obama is increasingly concerned. According to a source close to the former president, “he believes the Democrats could very well lose.”
A new Monmouth poll released Monday shows that 61 percent of Americans disapprove of the job the president is doing.
And if the past week is any indication, this number could continue to rise.
The formal investigation means more Americans will now know the truth about the unethical extended members of First Family and the millions they made from foreign entities by selling the “Biden brand.”
Perhaps most people already know Hunter and Burisma – and Uncle Jim and Dickie Scruggs. But this research continues to climb the family tree.
Have you met Jim's wife Sara Biden? America will soon do the same. The House has asked her to voluntarily appear for a transcribed interview.
Sara gave Joe Biden two checks totaling $240,000, while she and Jim received payments from a Chinese energy company that were funneled through Hunter Biden's bank accounts. They say it was “loan repayment,” but I suspect most Americans would not look fondly on payments of any kind financed by Chinese communists.

Now the Democrats will scream bloody murder over the supposed unfairness of it all. “Impeachment is being abused,” they will shout.
Oh, spare me the hand-wringing!
Perhaps before Donald Trump, impeachment was a nonpartisan exercise. But after the left tried to bring down a Republican president by any means necessary, it's all fair game.
What's good for the goose is good for the goose.
This impeachment inquiry is a runaway train – and not even the Big Guy can stop it.
Whether Joe is removed from office is almost immaterial. Because this investigation seriously darkens his hopes for re-election.
