Who is Lauren Oakley?
Birmingham-born Lauren Oakley was one of four professional dancers to join Strictly in 2022, along with Michelle Tsiakkas.
In 2022, Lauren did not have a celebrity partner, but performed professional group numbers as part of her role on the show.
She previously toured with Strictly champion Giovanni Pernice and former show judge Anton Du Beke, with Lauren serving as the pair’s leading lady.
Oakley is a former Burn The Floor dance captain and world-traveling dancer, who has toured South Africa, Australia, China, Europe, North America and Japan during her time with Burn The Floor.
After joining Strictly Come Dancing, Oakley said: “I grew up watching Strictly, always hoping that one day I could be part of the best show on television and doing what I love most loves.
“Now that it’s happening, it doesn’t seem real. I can’t wait to start this new sequin adventure and join this incredible family.”
Is Lauren Oakley married?

Previous rumors swirled that Oakley was dating Giovanni Pernice, but it was later confirmed that the pair were just good friends and had no romantic involvement with each other.
