And his latest outburst, calling Vivian Jenna Wilson, 19, a “communist” who thinks “anyone who’s rich is bad,” has suggested their relationship has hit a new low.

The 19-year-old last year legally changed her gender to female and her name from “Xavier” to Vivian Jenna Wilson, while revealing in court documents that she “in no way” wants to be related to Musk.

While the South African billionaire was “generally optimistic” about his daughter’s transition, he has since blasted her, calling her a “communist” and blaming her political views for the expensive private high school she attended.

But according to an excerpt from an upcoming biography of Musk, published this week in the Wall Street Journal, it is claimed that the rift between Tesla CEO and Vivian “Hurned him more than anything in his life since the infant death of his firstborn child Nevada,” who was just ten weeks old from SIDS.

Even more confusing, he tweeted in 2020, “I absolutely support transgender, but all these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare.” And: ‘Pronouns are worthless.’

In addition, he has since publicly criticized her and her political views, claiming that she believes all rich people are evil.

Vivian, who was named Xavier at birth, officially adopted her mother’s maiden name, Justine, at age 18 in 2022, according to court documents.

She filed a petition to change both her name and legal gender, and was quoted as saying she “doesn’t want to be related in any way anymore” to her father.

A judge in Santa Monica issued a new birth certificate reflecting her changed name and gender, with their ruling simply reading: “Xavier Alexander Musk to Vivian Jenna Wilson. The sex of the petitioner will be changed from male to female.’

Vivian filed the petition just three days after her 18th birthday, though the court documents weren’t made public until the day after Father’s Day.

In a tweet the night her daughter’s petition was granted, mom Justine said, “I had a weird childhood,” my 18-year-old told me.

“I can’t believe I look as normal as I do.” “I said, ‘I’m very proud of you.’ ‘I am proud of myself!”

Meanwhile, on Father’s Day ahead of the unveiling of her files, Musk tweeted, “I love all my kids so much.”

She was a private woman and was not noticed in public until several months after her request was granted.

While he hasn’t said much about his relationship with his daughter, what he has said paints a painful picture of alienation.

Vivian reportedly came out as transgender via text message to her aunt when she was 16, but pleaded with her to keep her gender identity hidden from her father: “Hey, I’m transgender and my name is Jenna now. Don’t tell my father.’

Musk said during an interview with the FT in 2020 that while his relationship with his daughter “may change…I have a very good relationship with everyone else (kids).”

“I can’t win them all,” he added.

More recently, he told his biographer that his attempts to win her over were unsuccessful.
