Meet Australia’s ‘sex toy queen’: single mother of two is a successful OnlyFans designer and professional pleasure toy tester – here’s how she earns $25,000 a month
Single mother of two Trisha Schwarz was working as a personal trainer and weight loss coach when she “unexpectedly” entered the world of sex toy testing.
The German mother previously worked as a nurse at a retirement home in South Australia when she decided the long hours and isolating role wasn’t for her.
After moving to Brisbane with her family and struggling to build a new life, Trisha found herself with an OnlyFans account to create content for her subscribers.
The 35-year-old now has over 100,000 Instagram fans and earns up to $25,000 a month from OnlyFans, in addition to the several thousand that come in from her business reviewing sex toys.
“A lot of people told me I wouldn’t be successful as a single woman, but I proved them wrong,” she told FEMAIL. “I just want other women to know that complacency isn’t taboo and that it’s so important to connect with your body.”

Trisha first arrived in Australia as a backpacker in 2009 and fell in love with the unique opportunities Down Under.
She went back and forth for years before settling down as a nurse in a remote town in South Australia in 2016.
Trisha then packed her bags and moved her family to Queensland five years later, seeking better community support and a different lifestyle.
The mother couldn’t afford childcare for her youngest – who was still a toddler at the time – so she needed a job where she could work from home and care for her baby.
She became certified as a personal trainer and started helping people with their fitness goals online.

But Trisha soon after decided to venture into OnlyFans as she wasn’t making enough just being a PT.
“It was hard at first because I was only making content,” she told FEMAIL.
“Other makers usually work in pairs, but I didn’t have anyone else — it was just me and my toys.
“But the toys quickly became my brand and I started reviewing them exclusively and sharing my opinion.”
After her reviews gained traction, Trisha created a YouTube account and started taking it seriously.
“I attracted a lot of companies that sent me free toys in exchange for reviews. I really enjoyed it and my audience loved me for making videos instead of just blog posts.”
But soon the free toys weren’t enough.
“I started asking for money and now I only do paid reviews. I charge $220 per toy and I have received over a hundred products to review in the last 18 months.”
Trisha said it was important to know your worth and to ask what you deserve.
Trisha revealed that the flexibility that comes with working from home, and the open-minded people she meets on the job, were the best aspects of her job
“I wasn’t just reviewing sex toys for fun; that’s how I earn money and put food on the table,” she said.

“I love my job and I love that I can share open and honest opinions,” she said.
But not everyone is supportive of Trisha’s career, and she’s had a hard time establishing herself in the dating world.
“I’ve only recently started going out on dates, but it’s a confusing experience,” she said.
“Sometimes people are really interested in what I do – and sometimes it gets a little too much for them.”
“But I don’t mind the smaller dating pool — I don’t want to be with someone who can’t have an open and honest conversation about sex and pleasure toys.”
The mother admitted that while she is not ashamed of her profession, she sometimes finds herself hiding the details of what her day-to-day life is like

‘My kids don’t really know what I’m doing; they are still too young. I will have an honest conversation with them about it soon, but not yet,” she said.
‘I’m a coach of self love, which is usually what I tell people when they ask. I provide many services: nutritionist, PT, yoga instructor, stress management.
“I like to say I’m a wellness professional; I help women love themselves. There have been a few negative reactions when people found out that I review sex toys, but I don’t want to hang out with people like that.
“Women’s bodies and pleasure have been stigmatized for too long, and I want everyone to know there’s nothing wrong with wanting to please yourself.”
