Media mogul Steve Forbes assaulted by BLM protesters at Conservative book launch
Media mogul Steve Forbes has revealed he was assaulted by two “wild-eyed” Black Lives Matter protesters at a conservative book launch in New York.
Forbes says activists stormed the event on Wednesday and began “screaming almost incoherently,” pushing books off the counter and dousing guests with drinks.
The 50-year-old CEO of Forbes was celebrating the launch of ‘Stolen Youth’, a book focusing on how ‘the awakening is poisoning young brains’.
“I was taking co-author Bethany Mandel near the counter where the books were on display,” he told Fox Digital.
“Suddenly, a woman seemingly out of nowhere was yelling angrily almost incoherently about matters that were not related to the subject of the book.
Steve Forbes says he was attacked by screaming Black Lives Matter protesters during the launch of the conservative book ‘Stolen Youth’. He is pictured with the book’s authors Bethany Mandel on the left and Karol Markowicz on the right.
Forbes said protesters threw drinks at him. She is pictured with Eva Longoria at the Forbes Women’s Summit in 2019.
“The books themselves were pushed off the counter and landed clatteringly on the floor as she simultaneously hurled a drink at us.”
Both he and Mandel ended up getting splashed in the drink.
“I joked that a dark suit was an asset in a situation like this,” Forbes said.
Stolen Youth was written by Bethany Mandel and Karol Markowicz.
The description of the book on Amazon reads: “The left is waging an all-out battle against the American family, particularly its younger members.
“If they can make our children miserable, lead them to question every building block of society and rebuild their entire concept of reality, then the left and their awakening indoctrinators will consider it a victory.”
Markowicz told the conservative outlet Daily Wire News: “Two bug-eyed young white girls run into our party and yell ‘Black Lives Matter!’
“They threw their glasses against the wall where our books were displayed and ran away.
“Suddenly I heard screams, books were thrown at me and I was soaked.”
Both women had short dyed blue hair and repeatedly chanted ‘Black Lives Matter’ and ‘translives matter’.
Black Lives Matter is a radical anti-racism movement that gained widespread popularity among liberals following the death of George Floyd in 2020.

The book celebrated its official launch in New York on Wednesday night.
The movement has been associated with many far-left causes, such as defunding the police.
Mandel told the outlet. “I noticed young women with short dyed blue hair yelling at us ‘Black lives matter, trans lives matter!’ I tried to talk to them, but they ran away.
Another group of young women also stood at the door and yelled at the attendees, calling them fascists.
Mandel launched a scathing attack on the protesters that she said proved the point of her investigation.
‘Wokeism is poisoning young brains. It’s the thesis of the book, and the deranged young women who protested the party are exactly what we warned about in our book: angry, irrational and uninformed,’ he told Fox News Digital.
“They parroted approved chants about the importance of black and trans lives. They didn’t know why they were protesting, only that we were dissidents.
“They are exactly what our readers don’t want their children to become.”
Mandel, a mother of six, added that her newborn baby “narrowly escaped” being assaulted at the event.
