  • Foodie Russ Eats announced the dessert item

Milo on ice has long been revered as ‘Australia’s most iconic dessert duo’, and now Macca’s is rumored to be adding the delicacy to its menu.

According to foodie Russ Eats, the amazing Australian dessert will hit stores on September 27.

The popular Instagram star “leaked” the menu item on Sunday night, claiming he was notified by internal sources.

Daily Mail Australia has approached McDonald’s for comment.

In the now-viral video, Russ “announces” dessert.

“Yeah, it’s just going to be an overpriced version of this,” he said, pointing to ice cream and Milo in a bowl.

“This is Australian culture, this is the best dessert in our lives, so I can’t wait.”

The video started with a photo of what appears to be the restaurant’s promotional guide.

The photo showed two dates, the start date of the Milo McFlurry promotion and the end date, November 7.

Russ’s fans seemed equally taken aback by the announcement.

‘Holy shirtballs!! Also mix it with some hot fudge sauce or a flake to ramp it up. This should be a permanent addition,” said one man.

“This is a dream!” said another.

“I can’t wait for this, in the meantime I’ll make it at home.”

Some fans claim that the restaurant started its McFlurry franchise with Milo.

β€œThis was the OG McFlurry when they first came out!!! Nobody remembers! It was so good that they always added a lot of Milo.’

But this confused others.

“Where in Australia are you because I clearly remember there was Oreo, M’n’M and Crunchie,” one fan countered.

Another interjected: “And nerds, they were elite.”

Others begged Macca’s to add Milo to more of its products.

“I want Milo thickshakes.”
