McDonald’s is finally bringing back fan-favorite sandwich that was so popular they had to pull it
A popular McDonald’s sandwich is returning to menus later this year after the hugely popular dish was initially pulled from restaurants due to overwhelming demand.
The fast food chain’s Chicken Big Mac will be available in restaurants across the country, though no date has been announced. McDonald’s tested the sandwich in some of its Miami, Florida locations in 2022.
The sandwich sold out within ten days of hitting menus in the UK in 2022.
“The Chicken Big Mac is exactly the same as the original, except instead of the two ‘all beef patties’ you get two ‘tempura chicken patties,'” Snackolator wrote on Instagram after.

McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski did a taste test of the sandwich in a video the chain posted this week.
“One of the things I love about this Chicken Big Mac is the crispiness of the chicken,” the CEO said.
“The Big Mac sauce tastes delicious with this,” he added.
Guests outside the US really liked the Chicken Big Mac.
“We had this in Canada last year and it was really good. It was like a big chicken nugget in between the Big Mac toppings,” wrote one commenter on Snackolator’s post.

Another diner added: ‘Puerto Rico has had this on the menu for a long time. It’s about time they had it here too.’
Others who tasted the sandwich said they were from Italy, the Netherlands and Peru.
“I’m shocked it took them this long to do something like this,” one commenter wrote.
