McDonald’s set to launch popular menu item in Australia – but you’ll need to be quick
McDonald’s has confirmed that its popular Grimace Shake will be available in Australia from October 4, but only for a limited time.
Customers couldn’t get enough of the berry-flavored milkshake after it launched in the US last year.
Now Australians across the country will get the chance to try the purple milkshake for themselves.
The latest menu features McDonald’s vanilla soft serve and berry flavored syrup.
In addition to the shake, Aussies can also purchase the Grimace Meal, which comes with a choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries and Grimace Shake.
The tasty drink is inspired by the fluffy McDonald’s character Grimace to celebrate his birthday.
The Grimace Shake and Grimace Meal will be available at Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via drive-thru, kiosk and counter, as well as via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery.

McDonald’s Australia Marketing Director Amanda Nakad said: ‘Grimace has made waves around the world and now it’s our turn to celebrate. We thought there was no better way to channel our dear friend’s energy than by bringing you the Grimace Shake.
‘The Grimace Shake is fun, vibrant and packed with flavour. It is a tribute to Grimace and the joy he has brought to Macca fans over the years.
“So brace yourself – we’re finally giving Aussies what they’ve been waiting for and we know they’ll love it.”
