McDonald’s Australia is offering customers $1 McChicken burgers when they use the MyMacca mobile app.
The deal is available exclusively at participating restaurants from 10:30am to 11:59pm on Wednesday, April 26.
Macca’s wanted to celebrate the “middle child” of their menu, as it is often overshadowed by the popular Big Mac and Cheeseburger.
There is no minimum order requirement to access the $1 McChicken, but customers must order through the app at a location or drive-thru.
The $1 McChicken deal cannot be used with any other offer and cannot be redeemed through McDelivery.

A fan favourite, the delicious McChicken features 100% Aussie RSPCA approved chicken breast cooked in a crispy seasoned tempura coating.
McChickens are also topped with crisp lettuce and creamy McChicken sauce between a sesame seed bun.
McDonald’s Australia Marketing Director Tim Kenward said: ‘The McChicken is the middle child of our menu, often overshadowed by its siblings, the Big Mac and Cheeseburger.’
“Because every middle child deserves a little party, we’re showing medium kids how special they are with an exclusive one-day deal on Wednesday through the MyMacca’s app, featuring our very own middle child, the McChicken.”
“Middle children, now is your time to shine. Call yourself a $1 McChicken, because that’s what we call a celebration of the middle child.”
Customers earn 100 MyMacca’s Rewards points for every $1 spent at McDonald’s through the app.
Foodies can redeem their rewards for a range of menu items, including popular dishes like cheeseburgers, coffee, and fries once they’ve earned 2,500 points.
