A popular car on Australian roads has been recalled due to safety concerns.
More than 5,000 Mazda CX-60 and CX-90 cars produced in 2024 have been recalled by the Australian Department of Transport due to a manufacturing defect that could cause ‘injury or death’.
“An unexpected increase in power steering effort while driving could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users,” the department said.
Drivers are asked to contact Mazda customer service on 1800 034 411 or customersupport@mazda.com.au for further information.
