Mayasiar Shrine location and walkthrough in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Mayasiar Shrine is a shrine within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Gerudo Highlands Sky region.

Mayasiar Shrine location

The Mayasiar Shrine can be found within the Gerudo Highlands Sky region. The exact coordinates are (-3544, -0320, 1965).

The sanctuary is tucked away in the North Gerudo Sky archipelago in a place called Starview Island, which is the large sphere that resembles the Death Star. You start your journey at Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower.


How to get to Starview Island and find Mayasiar Shrine

1. Use Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower to take to heaven. Once airborne, float northeast toward the nearest visible island, around (-3664-0852, 1965) on the map. (You’re going in the right direction if you do the Starview Island sphere island for you.)

2. Land on the island to find a floating Zonai block and missiles. Usage Ultra convenient to shoot yourself to the ball.

3. You probably don’t have the height or momentum to get all the way to the other side of the sphere, so once you’re airborne, head northeast again to the next visible island and use your Ultra convenient to build another floating block/missile combination to get back into the air.

4. Once you’re facing the southeast side of the orb, paraglide to the entrance, which faces northeast. Enter to discover Starview Island.


Starview Island walkthrough and the Mayasiar Shrine puzzle

To unlock Mayasiar Shrine, you must complete the Starview Island mirror and light puzzle. Feel free to make your Indiana Jones impression anywhere.

1. Paraglide down to the center platform Starview Island. Push the wheel on the main platform to aim the lights at the transom on the outer platforms.

2. Jump out to take the gust back to the higher levels. On the platform opposite the entrance you will find another wheel with a mirror on it. If the center light is positioned correctly, light should bounce into it from the source of the bottom mirror. Rotate the wheel mirror clockwise to position it towards yet another mirror just below and to the left of the Starview Island Entrance.

3. Paraglide across the room to the mirror you just lit up. Push the wheel counterclockwise about 180 degrees to position it toward another unlit mirror on the south side of the room.

4. Paraglide to the newly lit mirror and press the wheel to move it towards the unlit mirror in the center of the room. When all the mirrors are in the correct position, the center mirror should light up and direct the beam to the yellow sensor, activating the shrine.

5. Enter the shrine to find a chest containing one star fragment staff. Activate the shrine sigil to get one Light of blessing.
