Mayachin Shrine puzzle solution

Mayachin Shrine is a bit of pinball and a bit of tee-ball mixed up.

1. Jump across the chasm using the rotating platform when you first enter Mayachin Shrine.

2. Ahead you will see a switch and a crystal, and below you will see a few construction pieces, a few targets and a ramp. And there’s a giant ball rolling through the middle of it all. In the image below, we’ve labeled the things we’ll use in the next steps to clarify this.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Mayachin Shrine, we see construction parts labeled for reference.

3. If you haven’t already, hit the switch to reveal a target on the left.

4. Go to the lower level and go to the actuator (the thing sticking out of the ground next to where the ball rolls).

5. Get a pole and place it horizontally in the front of the actuator — we need to attach a pole to the actuator, but you can’t attach one directly.

6. Place a pole on the end of the pole to create a bat-like structure — sort of like a pinball machine.

7. Go back up the stairs to the crystal and switch.

8. Wait for the ball to hit the penultimate white tile and hit the crystal.

9. Practice hitting the crystal and adjust your timing until the ball hits the target – which will reveal a target on the right side of the room and open the shrine exit on your left.

10. Go down the stairs and turn right to find a hanging panel and a post in the ground.

11. Grab the post in the ground behind the hanging panel and turn it upside down. Place it in the ceiling above the hanging panel.

12. Grab the hanging panel and rotate it so that it lays flat. Attach the hanging panel to the post to keep it away from the target button behind it.

13. Go back to the top near the crystal and switch.

14. Hit the crystal to point the bat at Link and the crystal.

15. Wait for the ball to roll past your bat assembly and just short of the edge of the platform, then hit the crystal.

16. Practice your timing and keep trying until you hit the target on the right and open a gate on your right.

17. Enter the newly opened room on your right to get a chest Immediately stimulating elixir.

18. Turn around and go to the exit to pick you up Light of blessing.
