Maya Jama throws herself into early 30th birthday celebrations as she slips into a black mini dress after announcing split from Stormzy
Maya Jama has started celebrating her 30th birthday a few weeks early, following her recent split from ex-boyfriend Stormzy.
The 29-year-old Love Island presenter wore a black mini dress and heels as she posed in front of a set of two pink ’30’ helium balloons.
Maya, whose birthday is August 14, got the party started early by revealing her latest collaboration with Gordon’s Premium Pink.
The TV star looked radiant in the thigh-length dress, which she accessorised with gold jewellery and wore her glossy brunette locks loose.
On Wednesday, Gordon announced a new campaign to celebrate Maya’s 30th birthday, hosting a pop-up salon in her honor.

Fans can choose from two Maya hairstyles and makeup looks and there is also a take-home kit available, including a Gordon’s cocktail moment.
Maya’s first birthday party came just days after she announced her split from ex-boyfriend Stormzy.
MailOnline reported at the time that Maya and Stormzy had split after they failed to agree on when they would move in together.
The ITV2 star and the BRIT Award winner announced in a joint statement on Instagram that they have “recently decided to call it quits.”
Sources told MailOnline the couple had been arguing about their lifestyle, with Stormzy being more of a homebody.
Meanwhile, Maya is focusing on her career. She is the face of luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana, ambassador for Rimmel London and in demand by streaming giant Netflix.
A source close to the couple revealed: ‘Maya and Stormzy have very different views on their future.
‘Stormzy wanted to settle down, while Maya is enjoying her career. She is ambitious and wants to prioritize achieving everything she can.

On Wednesday they announced via Instagram Story that they had broken up.
Their joint statement read: ‘We laughed as we wrote this because we never, ever thought we would be the couple announcing our separation.
“But for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to give us both the space and grace we need to navigate the next part of our lives in peace, we thought it might be best to…
‘We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019 and then spent five years trying to rebuild our lives.
‘We have decided to try it for the last time in August 2023. We have done everything we can to make it work for the past year. But recently we have decided to stop.
Maya and Stormzy made separate appearances at Wimbledon last week, with the rapper visiting the VIP suite at Evian’s Mountain of Youth alone on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Maya partied into the early hours at the popular Chiltern Firehouse.
They were last seen together, hand in hand, on July 5 at the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone, where Stormzy made a headline appearance.

Maya confirmed in an Instagram statement on Wednesday that the couple had called it quits again, admitting they spent a year trying to “make it work.”
The couple also attended Glastonbury festival last month, after which Maya flew by helicopter to the ITV studios, where she will present Love Island spin-off show Aftersun live on Sunday evening.
In recent weeks, Stormzy has opened House Party, a bar he co-founded in Soho, London. The bar has been transformed into a traditional house party venue.
Maya shared video footage of the starry night on June 6 on her Instagram Story, where the couple were joined by celebrities including Louise Redknapp and Julie Adenuga.
Stormzy released his debut EP Dreamers Disease the same year he started dating Maya, with the couple calling 2014 the year they “fell completely in love.”
In their statement, they retold their love story and documented the five years they spent living their own lives.
At that time, Maya was engaged to American basketball player Ben Simmons, but they broke off their engagement after eight months.
Maya and Stormzy first split in 2019 amid speculation the rapper had cheated. He later confessed on Song Lessons: “I messed up and I thought you’d work it out.”
