Maya Jama reveals the big difference between male contestants on Love Island and Love Island: All Stars – after addressing Ruben Dias romance rumours

Her glamorous entrances have often attracted attention in the villa.

And Love Island host Maya Jama, 30, recently admitted she can’t resist a flirt with ‘fit’ castaways as she revealed the one big difference between Love Island and Love Island: male All Stars contestants.

The 72 cameras in the villa have often captured the contestants’ jaws dropping as they react to her infamous slow motion walks around the house.

But Maya, who is rumored to be dating footballer Ruben Dias, says the feeling goes both ways.

“I notice, but my mouth is open for them too!” Maya laughs. “I say, ‘you look good’, they just cut those bits out.”

She added: “The compliments are answered honestly. I actually say it to them, but it’s not part of (the show). The All Stars actually flirt with me less because I’ve seen them before. But I do chuckle.”

Love Island: All Stars starts on January 13 at 9pm and ahead of the show, Maya caused up a storm with the former contestants in a tropical island themed shoot.

Olivia Hawkins, Kaz Crossley, Luca Bish and Scott Thomas are among those hoping for better luck the second time around.

However, fans are more interested in Maya’s love life after she was spotted dining in Ibiza on New Year’s Eve with Portuguese footballer Ruben, 27, following her split from British rapper Stormzy, 31.

Ruben further fueled the speculation when he shared an Instagram post with a slew of photos from his New Year’s celebrations.

The compilation included a photo of two people staring at a sunset with their backs to the camera and their faces hidden, which fans became convinced was Maya.

However, the Masked Singer star has shown an eagerness to keep the relationship private, earlier this week attacking a troll for commenting on her love life.

And as she prepares to launch a new series of Love Island: All Stars, Maya reiterated her desire to keep the focus on the Islanders’ romantic entanglements, rather than her own.

Speaking at the lavish villa in South Africa, she said: ‘Even before Love Island people were interested in my love life so I’m used to it.’

The brunette beauty insisted: ‘This time it’s not about my love life, it’s about theirs – let’s focus on the islanders.’

However, Maya was willing to use some of her dating expertise to help this year’s cast and revealed her top tips for making the first move on falling in love.

She advised: ‘Don’t be shy about attacking people or putting your feelings out there because you never know what’s going to happen and someone else could come in and steal your partner – so just go for it and don’t hold back. . Don’t play long games and take action.’

It comes after Maya broke her silence on her rumored romance with Ruben as she attacked a troll on social media.

One user had written a tweet about people who “spend all day on the internet obsessing over people they don’t know and their relationships.”

Maya quoted their tweet with screenshots of previous posts from the same user, reacting to news of her romance with Ruben by writing, “She doesn’t rest” and that “women who jump from relationship to relationship are creepy.”

Hitting back, the presenter simply wrote: ‘Oh.. but..’ alongside two laughing emojis.

A source said The sun: ‘Maya and Ruben exchanged information at the EMAs and have been talking ever since, but things went into overdrive in early December.

‘When Ruben got injured and had to miss the busy New Year’s matches, he took the opportunity to see Maya in Spain in 2025. Spending New Year’s Eve together was a real step forward in their relationship.

‘They get on really well and are clearly a lovely couple, but it’s still early days.’
