Maya Jama praised by fans for her stamina after BRIT’s late-night party ahead of her TV appearance

Maya Jama revealed that her ‘ADHD and glam gear’ were to blame after fans praised her stamina and energy on Sunday.

The 28-year-old Love Island host turned up at the BRITs, threw an after party on a boat, and partyed late into the night, before looking refreshed when she presented Love Island Aftersun less than 24 hours later.

On Twitter, one fan wrote: “Obsessed with @MayaJama Cling holding on to The BRITS last night and throwing her own after party then tonight looking like a glowing honey on #LoveIsland.”

Before adding: ‘She and her team are KILLING him!’

Maya replied, “Honestly, it makes the glam team great and my ADHD because I wouldn’t have the energy or the Lewksss without them.”

Maya took the opportunity on Sunday’s show to introduce her new hairstyle: straight brown locks framed by gorgeous new bangs.

She showed off her incredible figure in a long gray dress that showed skin through a cutout detail on either side of her waist.

The dress highlighted her ample assets as it hugged her figure and went down from her shoulders.

The beauty added inches to her body in silver strappy heels.

Maya made sure all eyes were on her as she danced to the set of the Love Island spinoff show, where she gushed about all the South African village drama.

She sported a gorgeous makeup palette, including a winged eyeliner and a nude lip.

Maya was joined by regular panelists, The Morning After podcast hosts Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack, as well as famed superfan Mae Muller.

Maya was certainly in the party spirit as she made her way to the Thames River Party, showing off her dance moves as things got rowdy.

The wonder was unleashed as she twerked in front of her friends, sharing a clip of the moment with her 2.7 million Instagram followers.

Rocking a shimmering silver gown with a thigh-grazing slit and off-the-shoulder detail, she looked ultra-glam for the party.

When Maya welcomed a bunch of famous faces to the ship, it seemed to be a fun-filled night as the celebrities let their hair down after the music awards show.

Maya was at work earlier in the day when she presented ITV’s red carpet show before the BRITS, before handing out an award during the televised ceremony.

So, using her after party as an opportunity to let loose, Maya shared a glimpse of the party as she danced on the deck and partied in the DJ booth.

The Love Island presenter hosted the party on the River Thames with Coca-Cola, launching his new Creations product, a limited-edition drink called Movement.

Turning up the heat, the beauty added inches to her body with a pair of stunning coordinated strappy heels and accessorized with petite hoop earrings.

Maya pulled her long dark hair back into a sleek updo and applied a flawless palette of makeup, even to accentuate her beauty.

On the water, the unforgettable night was attended by guests including Jesse Lingard, AJ Odudu, Snoochie Shy, Chunks, Poet, Tiffany Calver, Craig Mitch and Mira May.

Maya’s outfit was her second of the night, after hitting the 02 Arena red carpet earlier in the evening.

The TV host looked sensational and slid into a figure-hugging strapless black dress for her red carpet arrival.

Her quirky dress featured a jeweled gold skeleton design that highlighted her ample neckline and gorgeous curves.

But during the event, former Love Island host Laura Whitmore and the show’s new host Maya appeared to ignore each other while at the same table at the BRIT Awards.

The awkward moment occurred when the stars of the music world gathered for the annual event.

Images and video show the two women standing directly next to each other at the ITV table, but they only appear to be interested in talking to other people on either side of them, at one point even turning their backs.

A source told MailOnline the couple were sitting at the ITV table but “didn’t speak to each other once during the whole ceremony”.

A source said: ‘Maya and Laura were sitting together at the ITV table, but they didn’t speak to each other once during the entire ceremony.

‘At one point they were standing with their backs to each other.

‘Maya was happily talking to Laura’s husband, Iain Stirling, but she didn’t chat to Laura once. There is definitely some tension between them.

Maya, 28, replaced Laura, 37, this year to present the winter series in South Africa and has been a huge hit with fans since taking over.

WHAT IS ADHD?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a behavioral condition defined by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.

It affects about five percent of children in the United States. About 3.6 percent of boys and 0.85 percent of girls suffer in the UK.

The symptoms usually appear at an early age and become more noticeable as the child grows older. These may also include:

  • constant restlessness
  • poor concentration
  • Excessive movement or talking
  • act without thinking
  • Little or no sense of danger.
  • careless mistakes
  • Forgot
  • Difficulty organizing tasks.
  • Inability to listen or carry out instructions.

Most cases are diagnosed between the ages of six and 12. Adults can also suffer, but there is less research on this.

The exact cause of ADHD is not clear, but it is believed to involve genetic mutations that affect the function and structure of a person’s brain.

Premature babies and those with epilepsy or brain damage are at higher risk.

ADHD is also linked to anxiety, depression, insomnia, Tourette’s syndrome, and epilepsy.

There is no cure.

Usually, a combination of medication and therapy is recommended to relieve symptoms and make everyday life easier.
