A source close to the star revealed: ‘This is a great deal for Maya and it will take her career to the next level.

“It’s been in the works for a while, and she’s so happy it’s finally done and she can tell people about it.” It’s the start of something really big for her and Dolce & Gabbana.”

Maya took over as Love Island presenter from 38-year-old Laura Whitmore earlier this year and has previously hosted BBC make-up series Glow Up, Walk the Line and Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros: Live.

The Love Island host made a fool of herself as she made her way through her long flight after filming for the dating show’s upcoming spin-off series.

Enjoying a McDonald’s before boarding her plane, Maya wrote, “I’m not ashamed.”

The presenter then shared a selfie as she took a seat and sipped a glass of wine, adding: ‘Waving in my little cave. Cling cling. Only 70 hours to go,” she said.

Taking her followers through the day, she uploaded a photo of a full English breakfast, before enjoying a plate of ravioli and then some pasta.

Maya wrote, “I might as well have done what I eat on a 20+ hour travel day.” It’s all carbohydrates and vibrations.’
