In Ruben Dias’ latest social media post, his followers suggest the Manchester City defender is ‘hard hitting’ a relationship with Maya Jama.
Dias sparked romance rumors with Jama after the Manchester City star was pictured celebrating New Year’s Eve with the Love Island presenter in Ibiza.
The pair had sparked rumors of a possible romance earlier in November after they started following each other on Instagram, as spotted by Game set and match.

Dias has previously had high-profile relationships, with the star dating Portuguese pop star April Ivy and Love Island star Arabella Chi.
However, a recent Instagram post from Dias’ New Year’s celebration shows that his followers continue to suggest that the pair may be in a relationship.

In a photo circulating on social media, Jama and Dias were seen dining at Sa Capella with one of the star’s friends as they prepared to ring in 2025.
Dias posted a photo of people watching the sunset, while fans suggested it was him and Jama
The compilation of eleven photos included a photo of two people staring at a sunset with their backs to the camera and their faces hidden, although they appear to be a man and a woman.
One fan wrote, “Maya Jama hard launch,” while others posted gifs and images of Jama under Dias’ post.
Another appeared to be a fan of a possible relationship between the two, adding: “I ship Ruben and Maya so bad (sic).”
One follower seemed to poke a fan about the fact that Dias is currently injured with a calf problem, writing: ‘You can pull Maya Jama but you can’t withdraw yourself on the pitch?’
Since joining City, Dias has become one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League and has been crucial to Pep Guardiola’s continued success.
So impressive was his impact at the Etihad that he was named the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year in 2020-21, his first campaign in the English top flight.
He is currently out of action at a time when his Man City teammates are enduring their worst ever performance under Guardiola and look set to drop out of the title challenge with around half the season left to play.
They have a chance to win again when they take on West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old, who joined Man City in 2020, was in a relationship with Ivy between 2018 and 2021.
Dias and Ivy, real name Mariana Goncalves, started dating in late 2018 and went public on New Year’s Day 2019.
The couple lived together in Manchester after Dias joined the Premier League giants in a £61 million move from Benfica.
Dias, who won the Premier League and Champions League with Man City, reportedly split with Ivy due to ‘lifestyle differences’.
Portuguese magazine Flash! reported after the breakup that Dias had wished for a more ‘discreet’ life, which was at odds with the ‘exuberance’ of his former love.
A source told the publication: ‘The now ex-couple already shared a house in Manchester, where the singer had moved to be close to Ruben and at the same time bet on her musical career in London.
‘The lifestyle, more discreet on the part of the footballer and contrasting with the more exuberant side of the artist, ultimately became incompatible…’
The split reportedly happened after the couple’s summer vacation in Greece in July 2021.

They met through mutual friends, but the relationship became public when they shared messages about the Eiffel Tower in November 2023.
A source said at the time: ‘Rúben and Arabella are quietly dating. She visited him in Manchester and their dates all flew under the radar.
“They went to Paris for their first romantic mini-break of the week, where he took her to dinner and dinner at the best restaurants.”

They appeared to confirm their romance after they were spotted at an airport on holiday together in early 2024.

After splitting from Chi, Dias was reportedly ‘spotted in Ibiza with a mysterious blonde’ in the summer of 2024.
The Man City star has now been linked to Jama, while the Love Island presenter, 30, has been dating single since she separated from her boyfriend Stormy last year.
