Maxx Crosby furiously shoves a Raiders coach on the sideline as tempers flare during defeat by Steelers
Alleged friction in the Raiders’ locker room boiled over on the sidelines as Maxx Crosby shoved an assistant coach during Sunday’s loss to the Steelers.
During the 32-13 loss, Crosby was seen angrily pushing run game coordinator and linebackers coach Mike Caldwell as he walked off the field.
Caldwell appeared to console the defense as the team was being steamrolled. In return, Crosby planted his palms firmly on the coach’s chest and pushed him away.
As fans blasted Crosby for his actions, he took to social media and claimed it was a “love act” while praising Caldwell.
“Mike Caldwell is my husband. One of the best people in the business. That’s a love urge, stop reaching,’ wrote Crosby. However, it didn’t stop fans from opposing his claims.

“Trade request coming soon,” one user suggested.
“Unacceptable, trade him to the Chicago Bears,” said another.
“Not okay,” a third wrote. “Really, really not okay.”
The loss dropped Las Vegas to a 2-4 record as they struggled early in the season.
Aside from the mounting tension and rumors going on within the team, head coach Antonio Pierce recently decided to promote Aidan O’Connell to their starting quarterback. He benched the struggling Gardner Minshew.
Additionally, star receiver Davante Adams was in the middle of trade rumors after the team reportedly mentioned their trade demands for the wideout.
Pierce’s team has now lost two games in a row after falling to the Denver Broncos before Sunday. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier as they have the Rams, Chiefs and Bengals on deck.
