Maxibon has relaunched one of its most popular flavors – and Australian foodies are already lining up for a piece of the action.
The much-loved dessert brand has reintroduced Maxibon Peanut Jams with Butter ($9.50 for a pack of four) in Woolworths and independent supermarkets.
The flavor is back by popular demand after an eight-year hiatus that saw shoppers begging Maxibon for another taste of the classic ice cream sandwich.
“This was my favorite flavor of all time, I’m obsessed,” food influencer Nick Vavitis said in a video.
The Maxibon consists of a peanut butter-flavored slice with raspberry jam syrup, sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies – one end of which is dipped in chocolate and coated with crushed peanuts.

While you can get your hands on the popular Maxibons at Woolies, Coles shoppers will have to wait until April 8.
The peanut butter and jelly-inspired dessert aims to take Australians on a trip down memory lane – from schoolyard lunches to grandma’s kitchen table.
Aussies have already shared their joy online.
“I can’t wait to try this,” said one.
“Just had it – I love Maxibon,” wrote another.
