Maxed out! I drink two litres of Pepsi every day – I shake and sweat if I don’t down a can
A woman reportedly addicted to Pepsi Max says she “shakes” when she doesn’t drink her favorite soft drink, guzzling down at least two liters a day.
Natasha, who has almost 10,000 followers on TikTok, claims she ‘sweats’ when she misses the bubbly pop.
The TikToker claimed in a viral video that she has downed at least two liters of Pepsi every day for the past four years.
“I’m not kidding, I’m not exaggerating,” she said in the clip, “If you know me in real life, you know this is true.”
Natasha revealed in a now-viral TikTok video that she has been drinking two liters of Pepsi Max every day for the past four years
She confessed that grabbing a can of the fizzy liquid is the first action she takes to start her day.
She said: ‘I haven’t even been to the toilet yet and I’m drinking a glass of Pepsi. I drink Pepsi Max like I’m breathing oxygen – disgusting.’
“I’m shaking and sweating…I’ll get a really bad migraine if I don’t drink Pepsi within 24 hours,” she added. That should be the wake-up call, but it isn’t.’
In the video with 1.3 million views, the content creator was already on her second can of drink, despite only being in the movie for 30 minutes.
She raved: “I fucking love Pepsi Max with my entire being. I love how they feel when they go down my throat.”
The 20-year-old revealed that her need for four liters of Pepsi Max was even a habit in sixth grade.
She said: ‘When I was six I used to do this all the time and people thought I was so strange.
“I used to take a two-liter bottle of Pepsi to my classes, just put it on the table and just drink from it.”
The 20-year-old claimed she started ‘sweating’ and ‘shaking’ when she didn’t get her daily dose of soft drinks
Natasha admitted that she had never gone a day without a Pepsi Max and bought one from the store on her commute to and from school
Natasha admitted that she had never gone a day without a Pepsi Max and bought one from the store on her commute to and from school.
She continued, “There was never a day at school without a bottle of Pepsi Max. If no one buys Pepsi Max, I’m dead.”
But the Pepsi fanatic believes this has only made her a better and more reliable friend, noting, “If you need a drink, you know I have a huge bottle of Pepsi in my bag that you can just take.’
People flocked to Natasha’s comments with concern, with one writing: Bestie, that’s an addiction, while another was disgusted by her caffeine consumption.
“A mouthful of Pepsi first thing in the morning is a terrifying thought,” one follower wrote.
Another asked, “My only question to people like this is, don’t you always feel bloated?
“I can’t stand soda because it makes me feel bad even though I like the taste.”
People flooded the comments, shocked by Natasha’s caffeine consumption, while others also shared the same love for soft drinks
But not everyone was shocked by the 20-year-old’s revelation, with one adding: ‘I feel less alone because I (drink) about 2 liters a day and also get terrible headaches if I haven’t had one.’
Another commented, “I was drinking so much Pepsi Max. When I quit ten years ago, my husband found me in the corner of the room, shaking and nauseous.
A third Pepsi fan shared a similar experience, saying, “I get a headache if I don’t have Pepsi Max. I CALL MY CAT PEPSI MAX’
But NHS GP David Nichols has revealed to MailOnline that Natasha’s soft drink habit could lead to health problems.
The MyHealthChecked GP said: ‘Drinking large amounts of soft drinks can have significant effects on your health, especially if you drink it for a long time.
‘Research has shown that possible side effects of this include weight gain, obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver disease and dental problems.
‘For those who have been drinking large amounts of soft drink for a long time, it may be worth arranging a health check to ensure it has not had any adverse effects on your body.’
Dr. David Nichols said it is possible that anyone who has drunk large amounts of Pepsi Max may experience withdrawal symptoms due to the large amounts of caffeine (stock image)
He added: ‘Although Pepsi-Max is a sugar-free drink, many carbonated drinks contain high amounts of sugar which is also known to be addictive.’
Dr. Nichols explained that soft drinks like Pepsi Max contain high amounts of caffeine, adding, “It is possible that someone who has been drinking large amounts of a drink like Pepsi Max could notice symptoms of caffeine withdrawal if they were to suddenly stop, due to the addictive nature of caffeine.
‘This is more common in people who drink coffee, with people noticing withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, irritability, poor concentration, anxiety and in some rare cases shaking (shaking) when they suddenly stop.’
GP advises the public to avoid fizzy drinks ‘all together’ and plenty of water and seven to eight hours of sleep per night.
