Max George was supported by his mother on Thursday as he made his first public appearance since receiving a pacemaker.

The singer had the surgically implanted device placed in December to treat an unknown heart condition, but has since complained of a fluttering sensation in his chest that doctors have yet to diagnose.

After being discharged from hospital on Christmas Day, George, 36, spent much of the festive period at home with actress girlfriend Maisie Smith before traveling to his mother Barbara’s home in Salford, Greater Manchester.

The Wanted singer was supported by Barbara as they took a walk with his beloved pet Pitbull, Albert.
