Mavs star Kyrie Irving is heard mocking the Timberwolves before Game 4 clash: ‘This is their Super Bowl’

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving was overheard making fun of the Minnesota Timberwolves before Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

During warmups, Irving was heard contextualizing the pre-game situation.

“This is their Super Bowl. It’s just a normal game for us,” Irving said before throwing down a monster dunk.

While there may be some mockery, he’s not entirely wrong: This is a do-or-die game for the Timberwolves.

So far, the Minnesota team has been dominated by the Dallas team in their hunt for a spot in the finals.

Games 1 and 2 were close, but both games played in Minnesota ended in losses.

Luka Doncic finished strong in Game 1, leading Dallas to a 108-105 win.

Two nights later, Doncic dominated again with a step back triple late, sealing a 109-108 victory.

Unlike the games in Minnesota, the last game in Dallas was much more one-sided, with Doncic and Irving both dropping 33 points as the Mavericks won 116-107.

Minnesota needs a Game 4 win to stay alive in the race for a spot in the NBA Finals.
