“The best thing about Chelsea at the moment is Pochettino, not the players or the owners, but the manager,” Carragher said live on Sky Sports.

‘That’s the main man. When you’re talking about Chelsea winning trophies again, I’m not sure they could have gotten a better manager available. Everything around him needs to improve.
“The players, they will now have confidence that they can go up against the best team in the world – confidence in the manager too, that he can set them up in a certain way, every big game he gets for the opposition. .
‘They were the better team against Liverpool, the better team against Arsenal and I think today they were the better team in terms of causing problems for the opposition.
‘So there’s a lot to feel good about with Chelsea, we can go back to ownership and how much they’ve spent.
“But as far as Pochettino and the young players are concerned, there is a lot of optimism going forward that they can compete with the best teams and a manager who can compete with the best managers.”
