The star of Bayern Munich surpassed the Spanish Pedri and Gavi and his performance did not miss the attention of Pochettino.
The PSG boss praised Musiala, claiming he is one of the best young players in the world alongside the Barcelona pair.
“For me he is one of the best young players in the world with Gavi and Pedri. He is a huge talent,” said Pochettino.
Jurgen Klinsmann reflected those views when he added: ‘He was the outstanding player for Germany at such a young age.

Pochettino said: “Germany is a great team, strong opposition. Today I was a little worried about Spain, a weakness.
“When the German press tries to find solutions, there are some problems, some mistakes. Germany finished the game better in the second half.’

If Germany and Spain win, Germany will be second. If Germany wins and Spain loses, second place will be decided between Spain and Germany based on goal difference and goals scored.
Germany would have to clear an eight-goal deficit (if the records are identical, the second will be decided on fair play points.)
