Maura is one of Love Island’s most successful exports and has amassed an impressive fortune as one of Britain’s biggest brand ambassadors.

The Irish beauty has a reported net worth of £3.2 million and has worked with her brands including Mermade Hair, Youth To The People, Mars The Label, Cosmetips and Ann Summers, who she continues to work on on a £150,000-a-year deal.

As well as a previous stint on Dancing On Ice, Maura has also tried to crack the US, acting as the social ambassador for Love Island USA and the host of the spin-off show Aftersun.

Maura is the sole director of a media company The Flutter Effect Ltd, which made a profit of £152,000 in 2022, according to the latest accounts.

And the star is already tipped to win the jungle crown after finding himself a latecomer in the jungle alongside Rev Richard Coles last week.

In an unexpected twist, the Irish TV personality has scored more likes on her Jungle announcement than any other contestant this year. Coleen Rooney39, and GK Barry‘s, 25, combined.

A TV source told MailOnline: ‘At first everyone thought it would be Coleen or GK Barry who would be the hook for this series, but it looks like it’s going to be Maura.

On the I’m A Celebrity Instagram page yesterday’s announcement that Maura was entering the Jungle already received 223,000 likes – head and shoulders above the existing campmates.

Gen Z TikTok star, GK Barry, led with 150,000 likes, followed by super Wag, Coleen Rooney who scored 45,000, and then former X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos with 39,000.

Looking at the likes on Instagram, it seems like this is the women’s year when it comes to popularity, as the man with the most likes was McFly’s Danny Jones, who received 20,000 likes.

And the support from her devoted fan base has already been felt by Maura as she told MailOnline: ‘I just don’t want to let people down because everyone is DMing me, and there’s been so many people saying, ‘Oh my God, I hope you do the show. I can’t wait to see you on the show.’

“And I’m like, I don’t want to back out of the trials and be the biggest wimp in the camp.

‘It’s been five years since I’ve been on TV. That’s a long time, it’s crazy.’
