The group’s frontman, 34, casually alluded to the romance, but declined to name Taylor’s name or say anything more about their apparent union.
Matty addressed the audience at the event, saying, “Is it all a bit?” Is it sincere? Will he ever handle it? All these questions and more will be ignored for the next hour. Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 1975.’
Musician Matty was seen on stage in a white lab coat holding a bottle of red wine, while his supportive mother, Loose Women star Denice Welch, watched from the side of the stage.
Singer Matty is said to be planning to move in with Taylor after just a few weeks of dating.

The 1975 frontman is rumored to be moving in with the superstar in New York while they collaborate on her new album.
According to The sunMatty, who was revealed to be seeing the singer earlier this month, has already shipped his favorite guitar effects pedals, audio interfaces, synths and MacBook Pro to town before he moves.
A source told the publication, “He and Taylor are so loved and want to spend as much time together as possible.
“Matty already told the 1975 team that he will do all the band demos in America for now.
“He’ll be working on his parts for their collaboration while she’s on tour and has scheduled time to attend select shows to get inspiration for her next album.”

The couple are currently in different parts of the world, with Taylor performing in New Jersey on Saturday night as part of her sold-out Eras world tour.
While Matty and The 1975 take the stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee this weekend.

It comes after Taylor recently made a telling comment on stage during her Eras tour in Boston.
The singer stunned the Foxborough crowd and gave her adoring fans a life update amid her rumored new romance with rocker Matty.
Speaking on stage, Taylor looked incredible in a glitzy green outfit as she said from the heart, “It’s insane. I just feel like telling you, I don’t know, that just… ‘I’ve never been happier in my life in all aspects of my life.’
“And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. It’s not just the tour, like, I don’t know, my life finally feels like it makes sense.
“So I thought I’d play this song, which brings me a lot of happy memories.”

The Loose Women star, who has Matty and son Louis, 22, with ex-husband Tim Healy, celebrated her 65th birthday on Monday and spoke in honor of the big day with OK! magazine about her family.
She revealed that her son suffered from exhaustion as he continues to take his hit band around the world: “Matty is absolutely devastated. He’s on a world tour and as hard as it is to go, “Oh, please have mercy on my boy”…
