Matthew Perry has been spotted for the first time since revealing he nearly died of an opioid addiction.
The Friends star, 53, looked healthy as he played pickleball with friends in Los Angeles on Friday.
Matthew’s sighting comes just one day after he described how his drug and alcohol addiction gave him a 2% survival after the opioids caused his colon to burst, leaving him in a two-week coma.

The TV star will sit down with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer for an exclusive broadcast interview, airing Friday, October 28 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC; It will be available on Hulu the next day.
Mathew was seen coming to court with a friend, rocking a black polo shirt and shorts, adding sunglasses and sneakers.
He went to the field with his friends and was seen taking part in a friendly match together.

The actor, who is best known for playing Chandler Bing in Friends, is now sober.
During his interview, he spoke about his decades-long struggle to overcome addiction.
Matthew had revealed that he had to undergo 14 operations on his stomach and use an ostomy bag for nine months; he said his stomach has some scars from the multiple surgeries.
His therapist told him he might have to use an ostomy bag for the rest of his life if he does drugs again, something that keeps him from relapsing.
The actor did not disclose when he became sober, but said he is now “pretty healthy” and chooses to “count every day”.

The actor also said he had to go to rehab 15 times to get clean; his first bout was in 1997 and then again in 2001 and in 2011.
During his interview: ‘The doctors told my family I had a two percent chance of being alive. I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that’s called a Hail Mary. Nobody survives that.’
Adding: “I wanted to share when I was safe to go back into the dark side of it all.”

“I had to wait until I was reasonably safe sober—and away from the active illness alcoholism and addiction—to write everything down. And most importantly, I was pretty sure it would help people,” said Matthew.
The actor said his alcohol addiction started when he was 24 while starring in Friends, adding that at 34 he was “anchored in a lot of trouble.”
Mathew revealed that he once took 55 Vicodin a day while on Friends, noting that he was only 128 pounds but “didn’t know how to stop.”
He said his co-stars on Friends were “understanding” and “patient.”
During season nine, Matthew was sober; that was the year he was also nominated for Best Actor.
He played Chandler on Friends from 1994 to 2004 alongside co-stars David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
The show aired for 10 seasons and made the stars household names.
They got back together in 2021 — the first time in 17 years since the show ended — for a reunion special.
Matthew’s memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing is available November 1.
