Matthew Perry was spotted having dinner with a friend last Saturday, October 21, in what appears to be the actor’s final public appearance caught on camera.
Perry and his male friend had just stopped by to eat at the Apple Pan on W Pico Blvd, which has been famous for its burgers and pies since its founding in 1947.
The Friends icon’s graying hair looked slightly disheveled as he was dressed in black sweatpants and a green T-shirt as he walked out of the establishment with a drink in one hand.
He also wore white Converse sneakers without laces and dark sunglasses as he walked outside, apparently back to his parked car.
The entertainer, who will forever be remembered as Chandler Bing on the legendary sitcom Friends, died in an apparent drowning accident on Saturday.

Authorities responded to a call around 4 p.m. when he was discovered unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home, and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, police say there is no evidence of foul play LA times.
During his last outing, his friend sat to his left with a bag, probably his leftovers, in one hand and a drink in the other.
It appeared that Perry was giving his buddy the lead by pointing in a certain direction by the time they got outside, close to the sidewalk.
The television star has been on a high since releasing his memoir Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing in 2022.
In telling his story, he shared about his lifelong struggle with alcohol and drugs, which led to multiple stints in rehab and a number of serious health problems.
He was hospitalized for five months in 2018 after a colon rupture, leaving him with only a two percent chance of surviving the night, Perry admitted in the memoir.

Perry estimated that he had relapsed “60 or 70 times” since he first got sober in 2001, during the last ten seasons of his run on NBC’s Friends.
Despite his addiction problems, the former child star consistently continued to work primarily in television, including guest roles on The West Wing (2003), Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip (2006-2007), Mr. Sunshine (2011), The Good Wife (2012-2013), Go On 2012-2013) and The Odd Couple (2015-2017).
He also had a few popular film roles such as Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), The Whole Ten Yards (2004).
Asked how he wanted to be remembered, Perry told The Times last April: “As a man who lived, loved well, lived well and helped people. Me bumping into it was a good thing, not a bad thing.”
