Matthew Healy charged with possessing child exploitation material after school toilet incidents

Meth addicted ‘deviant’ sex who escaped prison for sneaking into elementary school toilets to fulfill vile fantasies found with child exploitation material

  • Charged last year for two elementary school incidents
  • Placed on supervised bail with mandatory drug testing

A meth addict who was caught sneaking into an elementary school bathroom while high to fulfill vicious sex fantasies has now been found in possession of child exploitation material.

Matthew Healy, 21, was caught entering the twice last year at night in the bathrooms of Adelaide’s Playford Primary School and was sentenced in August to 18 months’ bail for good behavior – with no conviction on record.

Healy forced open a toilet block door, leaving behind a blond wig, sports bra and a used condom.

The South Australian court heard he would rummage through charity bins to steal children’s underwear or take them off washing lines. Adelaide now reported.

“He went to the toilet block, he has female underwear, he masturbates,” Judge Paul Muscat told the court on Thursday.

“He hung pornography on the wall. Everything indicates that the offender is motivated solely by his sexual deviance.’

A subsequent study linked the sperm in a used condom to Healy through DNA matching.

A raid on his home also led to the discovery of disturbing child exploitation material – a charge to which he has pleaded guilty.

Judge Muscat said the material Healy had written was so sickening that a police officer refused to include it in his statement.

The court heard Healy had taken to methamphetamine due to the stress of court proceedings, with his lawyer Andrew Ey saying his client is now determined to stay sober.

A psychologist submitted evidence that Healy suffered from “pedophile sexual orientation” and that the dangerous drug increased his sex drive.

Judge Muscat issued a stern warning to the 21-year-old before he returns to court in June.

“If he is caught using methamphetamine on bail, I will revoke his bail… and he will be taken into custody,” he said.

As part of Healy’s supervised bail conditions, he must continue to participate in a treatment program.
