Mattel honours Kylie Minogue with her very own Padam Padam Barbie doll

She is one of the world’s most beloved pop stars.

And Kylie Minogue has received the ultimate compliment from toy manufacturer Mattel: she received her own Barbie doll.

Kylie celebrated the moment on Thursday with a photo gallery on her Instagram.

In one photo, the 55-year-old smiled as she held the doll, a copy of the striking red outfit the singer made famous in her video for Padam Padam.

The doll, a cue from the pop princess, was dressed in a red bodysuit with matching lace-up boots.

On Wednesday, Barbie announced that pop star Kylie Minogue would be honored with her own Padam Padam doll. Pictured: Kylie, 55, with her doll.

It also sported Kylie’s famous cape and matched the hairstyle she sported in the sexy clip.

There were even authentic red dots in the doll’s blonde hair.

The Australian-born former Neighbors star can be seen on her Instagram posing with her doll in a beautiful red dress.

Kylie also added the message: ‘Look at Padam Barbie!!!! Baby Kylie would NOT believe this is happening right now…. Thank you.’

Among those who congratulated Kylie on her message was singer Natalie Imbruglia, who sent the beloved artist a message with a smiley face and a love heart emoji.

Mattel, the doll’s makers, announced Kylie’s honor on Wednesday as part of International Women’s Day ahead of Barbie’s 65th birthday on March 9.

In July, Kylie achieved unprecedented success with Padam Padam, which topped the charts in Europe and Australia.

The song has become her first UK top 10 hit as a lead artist since 2010, and Minogue is the first woman over 50 to be playlisted as a lead artist on BBC Radio 1.

Padam Padam was also Kylie’s first ever top 10 Dance/Electronic song on the US Billboard chart.
