Matt LeBlanc’s Friends costars are worried about his ‘reclusive’ behavior and ‘disheveled’ appearance nearly one year after Matthew Perry’s death
Matt LeBlanc’s Friends cast is concerned about him as the anniversary of their beloved co-star Matthew Perry’s death approaches.
Since Perry’s tragic death in October 2023, LeBlanc, 57, has rarely been seen in public as he grieves. His latest appearance reportedly left his friends worried.
He was spotted in Los Angeles earlier this month and his unkempt appearance was “concerning” to his co-stars, a source told In contact weeklyafter seeing the photos of him they had obtained through TMZ.
“No one is accusing Matt of body shaming or living an inappropriate lifestyle. That’s not what’s going on here,” the insider clarified.

“He has kept in touch with us since the tragic passing of Matthew Perry,” the insider said.
“But other than that, he’s just been on his own, doing his own thing, with no real interest in socializing,” the source continued.
“It’s just sad to see,” the source adds.
Of the noticeable change in LeBlanc, the insider said, “He used to be such a cheerful, happy guy, but now it’s like he somehow doesn’t feel worthy to be in their company anymore.”
The source added: “It’s clear his confidence has taken a knock. You only have to look at the man to see he’s let himself go physically as well.”
The source assured that LeBlanc still has the unwavering support of his friends.

“Matthew. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly some of the favorite times of my life,” he wrote on Nov. 14, 2023 alongside a series of stills from their scenes on the sitcom.
“It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend,” he wrote. “I will always smile when I think of you, and I will never forget you. Ever.”
LeBlanc wrote: ‘Spread your wings and fly brother, you are finally free. Lots of love.’
He concluded his tribute with a final joke between himself and his good friend. “And I guess you can keep the $20 you owe me.”
