Matt Gaetz’s wife Ginger posts cryptic picture at Mar-a-Lago as her husband’s sex abuse allegations resurface

Matt Gaetz’s wife, Ginger, posted a photo of her husband with Argentine President Javier Milei at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday with a telling caption.

Writing “strong men create good times,” Elon Musk’s X-platform post comes after former President Donald Trump rocked Washington with his announcement of her husband as his pick for attorney general.

Senate Republicans were so shocked by the move that some of them have suggested they could withhold their support from Gaetz, which would mark a rare break with their party leader.

The former Florida congressman promptly resigned his seat following Trump’s announcement two days ago, when it emerged that a House committee was investigating allegations from a 17-year-old girl who claims Gaetz had sex with her.

That led to speculation that Trump might try to end the Senate — which the Constitution gives the power to provide “advice and consent” for nominations — by installing Gaetz and other controversial nominees through “recess” appointments.

In her “Strong men” post, Ginger Luckey Gaetz tagged her husband, Millei, and far-right conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who were all photographed together.

Ginger’s online support for her husband came after the now-adult woman reportedly testified before the House Ethics Committee that Gaetz had sex with her when she was in high school and a minor.

Gaetz had been the subject of a lengthy House Ethics Committee investigation for alleged drug use and sexual misconduct.

He suddenly resigned his seat on Wednesday when Trump announced he was his choice to become the nation’s top law enforcement official.

Traditionally, the Ethics Panel drops its investigations when it loses jurisdiction when a lawmaker leaves Congress.

Before leaving, the panel was prepared to vote to release its report Friday, Punchbowl News and the New York Times reported.

Also featured in Gaetz’s post was conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Millei, a flamboyant right-wing populist who calls himself an “anarcho-capitalist”, came to power last year and has been compared to Trump.

He entered Mar-a-Lago on Thursday and praised Trump during a gala at the president’s private club in Florida.

“The world is a much better place, and the winds of freedom are blowing much stronger,” he said at the America First Policy Institute party.

He called Trump’s election “the greatest political comeback in all of history, defying the political establishment even at the risk of his own life.”

He also praised Trump ally Musk, who at Trump’s request is creating a new “Department of Government Efficiency” that will exist outside the government and recommend drastic cuts.

There is a Conservative Political Action Conference Investor Summit at the club on Friday.

Trump met with Millei, his first visit with a foreign leader since his re-election, the AP reported.

The club is buzzing with activity as Trump goes through Cabinet picks.
