Matt Damon has had his hands full shooting his latest film, The instigatorswhile promoting the biographical sports drama Air which was directed and co-starred by his old friend Ben Affleck.
With production on The Instigators shifted from Boston to New York, Damon has been spotted on set and shooting scenes with co-star Casey Affleck.
But on Saturday, the Massachusetts native took advantage of some downtime for shopping with his wife, Luciana Barroso.
The pair seemed very much in love, as Barroso had put her right arm around her husband’s left arm during the last part of their walk.
She was the epitome of style and class in a brown pleated miniskirt with a matching blazer over a black turtleneck.
Retail therapy: Matt Damon, 52, and wife Luciana Barroso, 46, went shopping on Saturday during a break in shooting for his new movie The Instigators in New York City
The 46-year-old resident of Argentina’s Salta province donned sheer black stockings, a pair of black knee-high boots and dark sunglasses for their afternoon excursion.
To complete her overall look, Barroso wore her dark brown locks long and voluminous.
By the time the lovebirds reached their destination, Damon had taken over carrying a large black shopping bag from Chanel.
The Good Will Hunting Oscar winner, 52, kept it casual-cool in light gray pants with an off-white button-up shirt over a matching tee, white Adidas sneakers and dark sunglasses.
Damon covered himself in a black overcoat, his dirty blond hair cut short and spiky.
The previous day, Damon was photographed shooting a scene for the New York heist thriller film The Instigators with co-stars Casey Affleck and Hong Chau.
The old leading man was behind the wheel of an old, beat-up orange van for that particular scene on Friday.
By the time he got out of the van, Damon’s character was all smiles, wearing a long black coat with stains all over it.
About a week and a half ago, the couple and their kids were in Los Angeles for the theatrical premiere of Air at the Regency Village Theater.
On the red carpet, the proud parents posed with daughters Alexia, 24, Luciana’s daughter from a previous relationship, Stella, 12, and Isabella, 16. It appears their other daughter Gia, 14, was not present at the screening.
The sports marketing film, which had its world premiere in March at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, tells the story of how Nike, a fledgling athletic shoe company in the early 1980s, managed to secure a Michael Jordan endorsement deal.
High-end: The duo stopped by the Chanel store and scored some luxury items
Promo Mode: The pair recently hit the red carpet together at the premiere of Damon’s new movie Air; seen on March 27
Family affair: They brought three of their four daughters to the event at the Regency Village Theatre, including Alexia, 24, Stella, 12, and Isabella, 16
In theaters: Air, starring Damon and Affleck, premiered April 5
Damon plays Sonny Vaccaro, the real man who, despite all the naysayers, brokered the deal with Jordan, even though there were more established shoe companies Converse and Adidas in the mix.
In retrospect, the Jordan deal was the catalyst for launching the global, multibillion-dollar contemporary sneaker industry.
In addition to Damon and Affleck, the cast includes Jason Bateman, Marlon Wayans, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker and Viola Davis.
Air finally premiered theatrically in the US on April 5
