The line was followed by an animated series entitled He-Man And The Masters of the Universe, which premiered in 1983.
The program lasted a total of two seasons, with a total of 130 episodes, and the finale aired in 1985.
The show was then adapted into a film, titled Masters of the Universe, which debuted in 1987.
The feature film, starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor, proved to be a commercial and critical failure upon release.
