Kikumoto’s rise to prominence began on April 9 when she appeared briefly in television coverage of the Masters, behind golfers John Rahm – the eventual winner – and Brooks Koepka.

While watching the two in action at Augusta National, the camera’s field of view lingered on her face long enough for someone to record a short video and it could go viral.

It was TikTok account DoubleBogeys that uploaded Kikumoto’s first clip. They posted a short clip of her with the caption, “Somehow I feel in love with someone I’ve only seen for 15 seconds.”

And five days after her appearance at the Masters, Kikumoto’s new modeling deal with BSX media was announced with accompanying photos taken before her moment of television fame.

The 19-year-old is also a cheerleader at Texas Tech. Thanks to Augusta, she has almost 50,000 TikTok followers, an increase of more than 40,000.
