The second day of the 2023 Masters will kick off later today, with 88 golfers competing for the coveted green jacket.
Viktor Hovland shot a bogey-free seven-under-par 65 at Augusta to take the lead after the first round and is closely followed by Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka who also share the lead.
Rory McIlroy got off to a poor start on the first day of the Masters, finishing level par.
Jack Nicklaus has won the most Masters tournaments with six. The former golfing legend won in 1965, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1975 and 1986. Tiger Woods is close behind Nicklaus with a total of five wins. His last win at the tournament was in 2019, one shot ahead of Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka.
