MasterChef’s Melissa Leong looks dejected as she arrives in Sydney with a $2,700 bag following the death of her co-star Jock Zonfrillo
MasterChef judge Melissa Leong recently shared her devastation following the death of her beloved co-star Jock Zonfrillo.
And on Thursday, the culinary expert, 41, looked dejected as she arrived at Sydney Airport and made her way through the arrivals hall.
The raven haired beauty rocked a smart casual look in an oversized brown blazer and matching trousers as she headed to the taxi stand.
She added a touch of style to her look with a $2,700 Gucci purse, but couldn’t hide her sadness as she took off her sunglasses to better focus on her surroundings.
Melissa wore her black hair parted in the middle and a light layer of makeup accentuated her striking features.

Her outing comes almost two months after her beloved co-star Jock Zonfrillo passed away in Melbourne on May 1, aged 46, on what would have been the premiere date of the latest series, which was pushed back a week after his passing.
In May, Melissa explained that the grieving process is a quiet one for her, after she was criticized for not participating in a special tribute to the late co-star.
The MasterChef Australia star wrote in her column for Stellar Magazine that there is no wrong way to grieve.
“We all deal with loss differently, and we should honor that,” said the 41-year-old.
“Some people need to talk to process emotions, while others take longer to find the words, if they can at all,” she continued.
“Some people need to be with people, while others need alone time to stare at a wall, incessantly clean, or sleep.

Melissa raised concerns after she failed to participate in The Sunday Project’s touching tribute to Jock following the MasterChef Australia star’s shock death.
Jock’s fellow judge Andy Allen and celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White and Curtis Stone all shared their memories in the heartbreaking special.
Notably missing was Jock’s co-star Leong, who did not appear on the program.
MasterChef fans posted to Twitter wondering why Melissa was absent, with several speculating that she was too sad to participate.
