MasterChef viewers ‘stripped’ as fan favorite gets show’s boat with remaining contestants reduced to eight
MasterChef viewers were devastated during Friday’s episode when Linda Zouggari was voted out of the competition.
The contestant was a fan favourite, she whipped up some impressive dishes during her time on the show while entertaining the show’s fans.
Show judge Gregg Wallace felt her wrath when she blamed him after she hit the floor during a challenge earlier in the series.
But this week it was Linda who was left disappointed when the number of contenders was reduced from 10 to eight, with Nickolas Rapson also getting the boat of the show.
One person took to Twitter to express their sadness at seeing Linda, writing, “I know she wasn’t the best but I’m gutted about Linda, she seemed nice #MasterChef #MasterChefUK.”

Another audience member at home wrote, “I’m sorry to see Linda go, such a beautiful contestant,” while another tweeted, “Aww beautiful Linda, she’s been brilliant, sad to see her go!”

Referring to Linda’s fellow departing contestant Nickolas, someone else wrote, “Utterly gutted to see Nickolas get knocked out of #MasterChefUK. He showed such great passion and skill.’
While someone else shared, “Too bad Linda left, I enjoyed watching her cook Nickolas get humbled.”
It comes after MasterChef fans were stunned after a shocking moment during a recent episode.
During one of the challenges, contestant Linda cooked arancini filled with an arrabiata sauce.
But she was distracted by Judge Gregg Wallace when he came to ask her how she was – and accidentally hit the pan on the floor.

As they spoke before the unfortunate incident, Gregg told Linda, “Everyone is stressed out and you are having the time of your life.”
Linda then laughed and said, “It’s that wine right there,” before bumping the pan and dropping it to the floor.
A shocked Gregg put his hands over his mouth and said, “Oh my gosh! Oh my God!’
Despite the disastrous situation, Linda rose to the challenge and won good comments from the judges for her dish.
However, Twitter users were left shocked after the accident and took to the social media platform to comment on their frustrations with Gregg.
