MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow reveals she has gone ‘full winter feral

Poh Ling Yeow felt the winter cold this week.

The MasterChef Australia star shared her favorite cold-weather uniform on Instagram on Monday.

It contained a beloved wool sweater in yellow and black tones and comfortable tights.

“Have officially turned into a full-fledged winter wilderness, and yes, that’s cake crumbs stuck to the bottom of my sweater,” she wrote in her caption.

“But how good is it to wear those insanely comfortable, old, pilling sweaters?” added the 49-year-old.

It comes as Network Ten is about to begin the search for Jock Zonfrillo’s replacement on MasterChef Australia, with “every celebrity chef” a contender.

While the network insists casting hasn’t begun yet, hit show insiders say talks have already begun following the beloved judge’s tragic death in the early hours of May 1, the day of the show’s 2023 premiere.

The source described it as a “dismal process” with everyone involved still mourning the enigmatic Scottish chef who joined the cast in 2019.

It is clear that both well-known personalities and virtual strangers are considered for the role.

One contender is Poh, who made a surprise return to the show this season to give the season 15 contestants their very first Mystery Box.

Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Zonfrillo replaced former judges Matt Preston, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan in 2019 after their shock abdication.

Despite having much smaller public profiles than their predecessors, the newcomers became a hit with viewers and the show continued to dominate the ratings.
