Matt Preston has revealed his favorite dining destination in the world.
The 63-year-old former MasterChef Australia judge has eaten some of the best meals around the world.
But the food guru has a special place in his heart for Portugal, especially the Fuseta and Algarve regions.
Matt praised the incredible local seafood, which is prepared in a traditional, rustic way and arrives fresh from nearby markets.
“Not only the local restaurants benefit from it, but also the grill restaurants along the quays,” he says tells news.com.au.
‘Grilling fish over coals is a passion here and these informal pop-ups with their plastic tables, chairs and paper napkins do just that – and they do it impeccably, whether it’s local turbot, tuna or calamari.’
