MasterChef star Justine Schofield shares an intimate look at her first three months as a mom: “Where has the time gone?”

Justine Schofield has opened up about her first few months as a new mom, after giving birth in September.

The 37-year-old former MasterChef star welcomed his first child, Louis, with former AFL player Brent Staker three months ago, and recently shared how he manages while balancing work and family life.

‘Where have they gone for the last three months?! Eat, @huggiesau diapers, play, sleep, repeat… we’ve been in the depths of a Louis vortex,’ she wrote in an Instagram post.

‘Little by little I get the hang of it, but I’m not going to lie, it’s complete and rewarding at the same time!

‘Now a new skill to tackle: getting back to work. Like most moms, I’m a little scared, and the guilt is certainly real. It seems like just as we’re getting into our groove, it’s time to start our next challenge: balancing work and home life.

The cook added that Louis has joined her at work events and has been behaving “most of the time.”

The 37-year-old former MasterChef star recently shared how he’s dealing with his work-life balance.

Justine announced that she had given birth in an Instagram post on September 4 along with an adorable photo of the couple holding their newborn son’s little legs.

‘Our beautiful baby boy, Louis Staker, is here. We are so in love,” Justine captioned the image.

In addition, he left his followers in no doubt about how to pronounce the name of the little man.

The cook added that Louis has joined her at work events and has been behaving “most of the time.”

The 37-year-old former MasterChef star welcomed his first child, Louis, with former AFL player Brent Staker three months ago.

“It’s pronounced Loui,” he added alongside a blue love heart emoji.

In the image, Louis is seen wearing a green, white-striped jumpsuit as he lies on what appears to be a sheet decorated with animals.

Meanwhile, Brent also paid tribute to his first child on his own Instagram account.

In March, Justine revealed that she and her star AFL partner were hoping

“Our beautiful boy Louis Staker is here…just in time for Father’s Day,” she posted.

In March, Justine revealed that she and her star AFL partner were pregnant.

‘We’re going to have a bubba. So excited, so grateful,’ she wrote on Instagram.

While Brent, a former defender for the West Coast Eagles and Brisbane Lions, wrote on Instagram at the time: “Very exciting times ahead…will soon be ‘all hands on’ welcoming our new boy.”

Since hanging up his boots in 2015, Brent has become an assistant coach for the Brisbane AFLW team and also appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2019.
