Julie Goodwin looks set to compete on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars Australia.

The 53-year-old chef, who shot to fame after her winning performance on Masterchef in 2009, was spotted heading to dance rehearsals on Tuesday.

She was accompanied by her professional dance partner Andrei Gorbunov when they went to a dance studio.

Julie stepped out in all-black activewear, including a black tank top and capri tights.

The cookbook author wore a pair of black running shoes while carrying a navy blue and white striped bag.

Wearing her signature round glasses, the television personality opted for very light makeup coverage and had her curly locks styled.

It has yet to be officially confirmed whether Julie will appear on Channel Seven’s dance show, while little information has been released about the expected series.

However, tickets are currently on sale to the public as filming of the episode one dance-off begins on Thursday, February 22.

The athlete told the Herald Sun who had previously agreed to participate in the dance competition, in 2008, before changing his mind.

“I’m in a pretty good position at the moment and I’m in a position to take on some new challenges and this has happened and probably for the first time in a while I’m in a position to give it a try,” he said .

“This worked for where I was mentally and wanted to throw myself into something.”
