But Melissa Leong has revealed that she also enjoys a bit of fast food — and will, in fact, love to travel for a certain McDonald’s burger.

In her column for Escapesays the television personality that she always stops in the takeout chain when she is in Japan.

There, the 40-year-old picks up the McDonald’s Ebi Burger, which is normally only available on Japanese menus at the chain.

“No trip to Japan is complete without an Ebi burger,” she wrote in her column this week.

“Filet-o-fish will always have my heart, but a fried shrimp burger is something completely different.”

In her column for Escape, the television personality says she always stops by the takeout chain when she’s in Japan to order the McDonald’s Ebi Burger.

The popular menu item features a tempura-coated shrimp patty with Thousand Island sauce.

Housed in a sesame seed bun, the burger also contains crunchy lettuce.

It comes after television revealed her favorite restaurant at home in Sydney.

Melissa said her “heart was full” in a gushing post she shared on Instagram as she enjoyed platefuls of Italian food at Fratelli Paradiso in Potts Point.

“It’s hard to find the right words to explain how I feel about this place,” she said.

She continued: “Hospitality is a feeling, a natural instinct and a way of life. It’s something that speaks to each of us, and if it’s real, you know it.’

The food critic explained how “happy” she was to be outside sharing plates of prosciutto, calamari and pasta with her friends.
