MasterChef crew ‘reminded of contract clause’ amid claims of strained relations with Melissa Leong

The MasterChef crew are reportedly being reminded of a confidentiality clause in their contracts amid reports that judge Melissa Leong has “feuded” with members of Ten’s production team.

According to The Sunday Telegraphthe show’s production company, Endemol Shine, warned the cast and crew about breaking the rules.

The company reportedly told staff their contracts would be broken if they violated the confidentiality clause or spoke to the media about behind-the-scenes secrets.

It follows reports that Melissa has reportedly “feuded” with members of the production team of the Network 10 show.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, the show’s production company, Endemol Shine, warned the cast and crew about breaking the rules.

Sources told the paper that the production staff and Melissa “don’t want to work together anymore,” but Ten hasn’t addressed the issues for fear of upsetting her.

Ten insiders say the situation escalated after a freelancer was brought in to do Melissa’s hair, and then asked not to work with her.

Confidential also claimed that Melissa accused the team of bullying in April after staff failed to provide her with a cake on her birthday.

The trio had a lot to celebrate during the ceremony, as MasterChef was awarded the Best Reality Show trophy.
