MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong shares his incredible four ingredient ‘Christmas crack’ recipe and uses one very surprising item
MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong has shared the recipe for his four-ingredient Christmas treat – and it includes a very surprising item.
The celebrity chef, 30, posted an instructional video on Instagram, explaining that his 'Christmas Crack' dessert is “very simple, but you have to pay attention.”
In addition to butter, brown sugar and chocolate, the recipe calls for Salada crackers.
In the video, Khanh places the saltine crackers on the bottom of the baking sheet and then pours the melted chocolate mixture over them before baking.
The optional decorations, M&Ms and desiccated coconut, are then sprinkled on top.

Khanh and former star of The Bachelor Dr. Matt Agnew recently spoke about the rumors that they are a couple.
The pair have become extremely close, seen holding hands, sharing regular 'date nights' and cuddling.
But they denied there was anything 'sexual' in their bond while speaking on the channel Party podcast.
Khanh and former star of The Bachelor Dr. Matt Agnew (pictured) recently addressed rumors that they are a couple
“It's the lack of affection that straight men show other men that makes people assume there must be something sexual,” Matt said.
'Be affectionate and tactile with your friends, and boys especially need to do this more. Everyone should feel so comfortable in their sexuality that they don't feel uncomfortable showing affection, men or women.
“There's an arbitrary line in the sand – no, boys can't show affection – which is stupid,” he added.
Matt went on to explain that the couple likes to share a platonic hug as they are both single and need company.
'People are very social beings. Hugs and hugs, which release dopamine and make you feel good,” he said.
'Cuddles are important for everyone, women and men. That physical comfort and being able to feel safe. It's something inherently human.'

Matt added that the guys will call each other and say, “Let's have a movie night, have a cuddle,” and that “it makes you feel better.”
“We usually do it on Tuesdays!” Khanh, who is openly gay, agreed, adding that he felt “vulnerable” last Monday and that they had their date night twice that week.
“We were friends and it got to the point where we were like, 'Would you just like to come on the couch and watch a movie and hold hands?' Khanh continued.
'I missed the company. The sex is easy, but the company was hard to find, so it just worked.”
