MasterChef Australia grand finalists revealed following nail-biting semi-final challenge
The two finalists of MasterChef Australia 2024 have been announced.
In the thrilling semi-final, contestants Savindri Perera, Josh Perry (aka Pezza) and Nat Thaipun were tasked with creating their own menu and preparing a three-course meal for 20 guests and the judges.
The challenge was tough for all three chefs, who had to stand for a full five hours.
Savindri took up the challenge to showcase what Sri Lankan cuisine has to offer, but she struggled with time management.
Ultimately, Savindri failed to impress the judges as much as the unassuming Tasmanian butcher Pezza and the risk-taking Nat, who emerged as the two grand finalists.
After the duo won, the results were shared on MasterChef Australia’s Instagram page.
The photo showed the moment Nat and Pezza were told they had made it through to the grand final.
“Put your hands together for our MasterChef 2024 Grand Finalists!” the caption read.
