A Massachusetts high school student suffered “serious” injuries when he jumped from a sixth-floor window after ingesting “magic” mushrooms he allegedly bought from an arrested drug dealer.
The unknown Brookline High School student allegedly bought the illegal mushrooms from 22-year-old Niko and threw them down six floors after consuming them.
The student was seriously injured and the police do not yet have clarity about his condition.
According to Brookline police, a tip was sent to the department that led them to investigate Niko.
Police said the dealer had a “particular interest in selling drugs to underage teenagers.”
They also said Niko legally purchased drugs “not suitable for children” from local marijuana dispensaries, including psychedelic mushrooms, and sold them to his “many teenage customers.” Niko is now facing drug charges.

In a Facebook In a post, officials said, “Based on a tip, Brookline detectives began investigating a suspected drug dealer who goes by the name Niko in Brookline Village.
“This 22-year-old man reportedly had a particular interest in selling drugs to underage teenagers. Some of these products were purchased from local marijuana dispensaries where Niko would have purchased the products legally. However, they are not suitable for children.'
“Many of these items found their way onto the campus of Brookline High School, where students were caught with items allegedly purchased from Niko,” the department said.

The department warned: 'Niko is suspected of having many teenage clients, although it is not possible to say exactly how many he has had in recent years.
'A lot of children [are] unwitting victims of its harmful chemicals and toxins. So if you come across some of this stuff in your teen's room, don't dismiss it as typical, harmless pocket junk. Pay close attention and protect your children against harmful substances.'
The police continue the investigation. It is not clear how many students Niko allegedly sold drugs to.
