A man has been shot by police after stabbing several employees at a Toyota car dealership.
Police in DeKalb, Illinois, repeatedly ordered the attacker to put down the knife and opened fire when he refused.
Several employees at the Brian Bemis Toyota dealership on Sycamore Road were attacked.
City Manager Bill Nicklas said while several staff members suffered stab wounds, none of the injuries were life-threatening.
“DeKalb Police responded to a call involving an individual wielding a knife and stabbing employees,” Nicklas said.
